Somatic Training with

Balls and Bamboos

Approach

Somarhythms is an APPROACH in somatic education. The exercises and movement sequences are designed to help us feel, tone and refine our movements thereby allowing us to move more consciously and easefully. Somatic training teaches us to experience our bodies and movements more fully and promotes a growing sense of WELL-BEING.

The Somarhythms approach differs from

Yoga and Pilates by:

  • the study and use of movement sequences based on developmental motor patterns.
  • the attention and time devoted to personal movement exploration.
  • the emphasis on the use of gymnastic balls and bamboo poles to stimulate sensory integration.

Well-Being

FOR WELL-BEING,  FOR PREVENTION,  FOR PLEASURE, FOR KNOWLEDGE.

Somatic training with gymnastic balls and bamboo poles is of interest to all those who want to develop an awareness of their movement habits, discover the potential of their personal movement vocabulary and improve their physical fitness and quality of life.
